Work Schedule
Shift: Full-time, day shift with 1 weekend a month required.
General
Summary:
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality therapeutic care to clients that are assigned to their specific unit/department. Initiates and complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments, provides individual, group, and family therapies to clients and their families, and participates in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings. Demonstrates actions and attitudes that contribute to the critical success factors of the organization (i.e. Best place to work, most extraordinary experience, superior outcomes, financial success for reinvestment, valued as a faith-based organization, and a growing organization vital to the community).
Qualifications
Masters Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
LGSW required, LCSW-C preferred
One to three years social work experience preferred,
Experience in an inpatient setting preferred
Knowledge of psychological disorders & abnormal psychology related to adolescents and adults required
Excellent Written and Verbal Skills Required
Excellent Skills in Maintaining Information as Highly Confidential Required

Responsibilities
1. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality therapeutic care that is appropriate to the age, diagnoses, developmental state, and mental status of the clients that are assigned to their specific unit/department
2. Initiates and implements complete, comprehensive psychosocial assessments
3. Provides individual, group, and family therapies to clients and their families
4. Participates in and interdisciplinary treatment team to propose and develop strategies and interventions that would promote excellent therapeutic outcomes
5. Assists clients in their development of self respect, dignity, integrity, and self-actualization through a multitude of traditional and adjunctive therapeutic services
6. Documents services provided and disseminates information/reports to community referral sources and agencies, i.e., DJJ, DSS, HHS, APS, CPS, LCC, etc.
7. Co-Ordinates with the interdisciplinary team, referral sources, and community resources aftercare and supportive services to ensure a successful discharge planning process
8. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to diffuse psychotic and/or behavioral crises to ensure client, unit, and staff safety an stability
9. Assesses and intervenes in cases of suspected/disclosed child/adult neglect/abuse issues
10. Develops professional relationships with co-workers and supports an environment of mutual respect.
11. Promotes positive patient-family-community relations

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
