The Mid-Atlantic Regional Training Team is looking for the next great Regional Trainer. We have an opening in our DC Metro area for a Regional Trainer. We are looking for a Team Member with an understanding of retail excellence, merchandising, service, financial systems, leadership and experience connecting our Team Members to our mission and purpose.

Essential duties:
Participate in new store opening trainings
Facilitate Orientation for a group of stores in the DC Metro area
Work with store leadership and PBS to schedule orientation classes
Provide Store Leadership with feedback on trainees after orientation
Build store-level support for Regional and Global Training programs
Help train PBSs on effective Day 1 Training
Demonstrate an understanding of WFM Mission and Purpose programs
Facilitate Supervisor & Career Coaching Classes
Support TIME Chair-people in local stores
Support training needs in local stores as necessary
Develop a working knowledge of My Journey Learning Connection
Deliver Safety Trainings as needed
Be an active member of the MA Regional TMS Team
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Has support of STL and TL and exceeding expectations in current position
Ability to articulate and demonstrate an understanding of WFM Culture and Retail Operations
Deliver information in a clear, respectful manner to Team Members
Show examples of how you manage multiple projects
Understanding of basic facilitation skills for small group trainings
Leadership experience at WFM/preferred candidate will have at least ATL level experience at WFM
Understand financial metrics and gainsharing
Experienced retailer with a passion for great service and merchandising
Ability to write clear, grammatically correct short trainings and communications
Demonstrate strong word, excel, outlook and power point skills
Understanding of Global Food Safety expectations
Interest in food and cooking with an understanding of our Quality Standards
Ability to travel around the MA Region as needed
Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
Essential Job Functions:
Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, ovens, freezer, outdoors, etc.)
