On The Marc Media is currently seeking forward-thinking interns to join our team for the fall 2014 semester. Were a fun, yet fast-paced, public relations and marketing agency located right outside of Washington, D.C. Our interns gain relevant communications experience by working hands-on with our clients, representing an array of industries.
Your
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and execution of short-term strategy for clients
Track client goals and objectives
Conduct research
Draft succinct copy for blogs, new releases, pitches and other written content
Support clients social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Instagram
Manage and update client websites, as needed
Monitor and analyze performance of client websites, social media accounts, advertisements and email campaigns
Produce written and multimedia content for On The Marc Media blog and social media accounts
Our Requirements:
Must be local (Washington, D.C. or surrounding counties)
Must be a rising college Junior or Senior. Exceptional rising Sophomores may be considered.
Must be majoring PR, communications, marketing, advertising, journalism, graphic design, video production or related field
Must possess strong written and interpersonal communications skills
Must be organized and flexible with the ability to prioritize time-sensitive projects
Must be a self-starter with a sense of humor
Must be able to commit to at least 10 hours/week
Must start the week August 25, 2014
Pluses in Our Book:
Candidates seeking internship credit
Candidates who can commit to two full work days (9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
Candidates with prior internship experience
Candidates with knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, HTML/CSS, iMovie and/or Final Cut Pro
