Collections Supervisor JM To $65,000 plus benefits My client is a mid sized, prestigious financial institution located in Montgomery County. They are looking to hire a Collections Supervisor to report to the CFO covering the following main duties: Supervise a collections team of two Coordinate collections, contact members as soon as they become past due, and follow up on broken commitments, prioritizing workload in order to maintain the shortest possible collection period while minimizing bad-debt loss Build member confidence through strong member relationships Limit the financial exposure by constantly reviewing customers revenue liability and making sure adequate collateral is obtained to secure services Continuously maintain various databases to assure the continued integrity of data and facilitate information sharing Obtain financial and relevant information through annual reports and making contact with all references to determine the risk level of each member Analyze financial and essential information to recommend appropriate credit terms of each customer Ensure regular communication with Sales and Sales Support teams Develop and maintain relationships with sales executives and members to allow for timely resolution of problems Research and sometimes coordinate the identification and resolution of member problems such as billing and payment application errors Prepare and make monthly and quarterly reserving recommendations to Management For more information on this and other full time accounting and finance opportunities across the DC metro area, please contact Justin Marcus - Recruiting Manager at Robert Half International on email in the strictest confidence to justin. .
