Program Manager

Altran is looking to hire a Program Manager to work onsite at a client location in Rockville, MD.
You will be providing project management support to a global pharmaceutical company that is focused on the research, development and manufacturing of innovative pharmaceutical medicines, vaccines and consumer healthcare products.
Our client currently operates in over 60 countries with an investment that exceeded $5 billion (USD) in research and development in 2017.
Our client has a strong operational base in the United States.
This position is based in Rockville, MD.
Key responsibilities of this role include and are not limited to the following:
Oversee the coordination and administration of all components of an ongoing program (related to cross functional streams, one function projects and ongoing operations directed toward a common strategic objective).
It includes planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities, while giving strategic operational guidance to Vaccine Commercial Teams (VCTs).
Integrate and control the interdependencies among program components by working in five interrelated and interdependent Program Management Performance Domains:
Program Strategy Alignment; Program Benefits Management; Program Stakeholder Engagement; Program Governance; and Program Life-Cycle Management.
In collaboration with key stakeholders and/or constituent Project Managers:
Identify opportunities and benefits to achieve the organization's strategic objectives through program implementation:
Develop and maintain an upto-date program roadmap (high-level view of key milestones and decision points) using goals and objectives of the program, applicable historical information, and other available resources in order to align program with organizational strategic objectives.
Obtain senior management approval for the program by presenting the program charter with its high level costs and benefits for the organization in order to receive authorization to proceed to the next phases.

Enable appropriate planning, control, delivery and benefit sustainment across program components to achieve the program intended strategic benefits.
Analyze the potential impact of planned program changes on the expected benefits and outcomes.
Address program risks and issues spanning the program by identifying and selecting a course of action in order to enable continued program progress.
Generally responsible for determining and coordinating the sharing of resources among their constituent projects to the overall benefit of the program.
He/she may be involved in solving resource conflicts that affects multiple components of the program.
Usually responsible for stakeholder management, both internal and external to the PIO organization:
Identify program stakeholders and ensure proper stakeholder engagementMaintain accurate program information, communicate and report program information to stakeholders according to the program communication plan to ensure aligned understanding of program content and status (eg using a program dashboard).
Establish alliances with other departments and organizations by recognizing dependencies across all program components.
Manage program changes in accordance with the structured program governance to resolve scope, quality, schedule, cost, and risk impacts.
At least 5-10 years of relevant Program Management experience.
Experience managing portfolios across multiple departments in a large organization is preferred.
Experience working within the Life Sciences industry (Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices or Biopharmaceutical manufacturing) is a plus.
Experience managing and mitigating program risks using risk registers.
Hands-on experience using project tracking and planning systems.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Biology or Engineering (mechanical, electromechanical, automation, electrical, chemical or biochemical).
The ability to work in a structured manner within a dynamic environment.
A proactive, rigorous and analytical approach to solving problems.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
