As a LiveOps Software Developer on the Live Operations Team, you'll focus on helping us support existing services essential to Operations, Customer Service, and the rest of Zenimax.
You'll adopt/adapt/improve our development efforts and release cycle, provide on-call support for the code repositories and services we're responsible for, and maintain existing automations.
You'll also take on new projects as the needs of the business require, assist in requirements gathering, confirm scope of work, and help with roadmap planning.
Your efforts will be integral to the success of Live Operations, Zenimax's Unified Services organization, and game studios across the business as you work closely with integrations and data that inform decisions and move mountains.
This role is critical for empowering observability, facilitating correlation, and enhancing support capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, update, and support existing internal web applications Design scalable, maintainable, and secure web apps that provide solutions to teams and studios Ship high-quality, well-tested, secure, maintainable code Integrate new products into workflows, support systems, and automations Part of a 24/7 on-call rotation for support of web applications and associated architecture Provide peer review and mentoring for others as circumstances warrant Review purchasable software solutions and provide analysis to leadership Maintain cloud architecture and provide supporting documentation to engineers and NOC Develop and maintain technical documentation
Qualifications:
2 years of programming experience in interpreted languages such as Python/Ruby/Node.
js 2 years of programming experience using a modern web framework, such as React.
js Experience using Cloud computing technologies, including AWS and/or Azure Comfort working with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide support An eternal student - willing and excited to learn or figure out the best way to solve problems Applicant Privacy Notice:
