Director of IT Job Summary The Help Desk Technician is responsible for responding timely to all help desk inquiries that the IT Department receives, including basic end-user security issues, software questions, and hardware operation questions/issues (including peripheral devices).
Requirements Associate s degree in related field area or 1-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

) with occasional additional hours needed based upon project deadlines and business needs.
Able to work individually under limited supervision, or with a diverse team.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11, as well as MS-Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Communicate effectively in English (aural, verbal, and written).
Must be customer service-oriented and able to adapt new techniques to better serve clients.
Must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within related field.
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, climb, and remain in static positions for duration of shift.
Able to drive to other company offices or jobsites as needed.
Able to lift up to twenty-five pounds (25 lbs.
) without assistance.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the daily performance of end-user computer systems (PCs, printers, etc.
).
Escalate serious or more advanced issues to appropriate staff (Systems Administrator, Network Engineer, etc.
) Respond to employee inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation, provide analysis of basic/general issues, and resolve items in a timely manner.
Set-up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and appropriate software according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
Install software/OS/driver updates to desktop PCs and peripheral devices.
Perform routine diagnostics and perform repairs to computer hardware and software.
Order supplies, devices, software as directed; update equipment inventories as needed or directed.
Maintain records of communication, issues, resolutions, etc.
Miscellaneous duties as needed.
