Director, Technology The Role The Event Technical Support Specialist is responsible for setting up and maintaining RAPS digital solutions including event registration, online logistics, and technical support (virtual and live).
This role creates and maintains processes and procedures, working with the education team, to assist in the collection of content and logistical information for event setup and management in AMS, CMS, and related systems.
Existing as a part of the technology team, responsibilities also extend into other departments.
What you will do with us:
Manage and maintain event setup process in digital systems for live and virtual events Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors to set up technical needs for event registration and online content Provide technical support to staff, speakers, and attendees during live and virtual webcast and workshop events Support customer service for events Generate digital reports on registration and work with marketing team on systems for outreach efforts Create and improve processes and procedures to improve internal and external digital event information and setup processes Gain knowledge as a member of the technology team and cross-train to provide backup as needed Collaborate on testing and evaluation for technology implementations Please note:
This position may require up to 10% travel to domestic and international RAPS/industry events, as well as local member/customer/industry events.
