The Benefits Department administers the company-wide benefit programs and policies that meet the needs of Choices diverse workforce to support our associates' physical, financial, social, and mental wellness.

Your Responsibilities
Manages the day-to-day communication and troubleshooting with benefits vendors and benefits administration system.

Identify, plan, and recommend methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency and effectiveness of benefit programs.

Compile employee benefits data and analyze trends to maximize the companys benefits spend.

Assist with various annual projects including, but not limited to, Annual Enrollment, compliance filings, non-discrimination testing, legally required notices, and plan audits.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
Bachelor's degree in a related field HR, Business, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent experience.

At least 5 years administering employee benefit programs, preferably in a corporate, multi-state setting.

In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations that govern benefit programs, including the technical aspects of benefits administration, such as discrimination testing and government reporting requirements.

Experience using HRIS to respond to demands for data retrieval, information processing, and reporting.

Demonstrates key competencies to include sound decision quality, cultivates innovation, and drives for results.
Your Team This individual contributor role will report to the Director, Benefits.
You will have three peer teammates and collaborate with cross-functional departments regularly.
Your Work Location As our Sr.
Benefits Analyst, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in Rockville, MD.
Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, were located directly across from the Rockville Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.
Right now, our associates in Rockville, MD are working in a hybrid environment, up to 4 days per week in the office and virtual from your home office the remaining days.
We provide flexibility and encourage ongoing communication with your leadership to establish expectations about your unique needs.
We are focused on safety and wellness in our offices, and as such, as a Choice associate you will be required to disclose your COVID-19 vaccination status and provide a copy of your vaccination card.
