You will work alongside top engineers and technical thought leaders to solve difficult problems in innovative ways, supporting our country's most vital missions.
Work you'll do:
Work with clients to understand and solve their most pressing business and technical challenges while leading a diverse talent group in support of Federal and State Government agencies.
Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients' technology leaders and help guide clients' Cloud vision.
Create new opportunities to showcase Cloud technologies and capabilities for our clients.
Help lead our Cloud practice, develop our future Cloud leaders, and expand the Deloitte Cloud brand throughout the public sector marketplace.

Our Cloud Engineering team focuses on enabling our clients' end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of:
Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration& APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services.
We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.
Cloud Engineering supports our clients by improving agility and resilience, while identifying opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation.
We advance our clients toward a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators, to achieve their vision.
Responsibilities include:
Self-starter who can listen to customers to identify and articulate their specific needs and concerns.
Translate mission needs into technical requirements and prioritize activities and milestones.
Ability to collect, analyze, and present data center and cloud services technical information to clients.
Experience with preparing technical executive briefings utilizing power point.
Excellent at identifying technology trends, determining process improvements, and implementing change.
Experience with a variety of technologies and frameworks, including:
AWS and Azure government Cloud offerings Multi-cloud management architecture and cloud management platforms Cloud migrations, operations, and optimization methodologies Data Center modernization/transformation strategies IT service management framework such as ITIL NetApp storage platform Success in supporting complex cross-organization teams to deliver business results.
Excellent customer communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills and a mix of creativity, diplomacy and problem-solving skills are required to achieve results.
Ability to support metrics reporting to demonstrate progress and to identify issues.

years of experience with Servers, Infrastructure, Platform Sizing, Infrastructure Cost Reduction 3
years of experience with Infrastructure-Based Processes:
Monitoring, Capacity Planning, Facilities Management, Performance Tuning, Asset Management, Disaster Recovery, Data Center support Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably Computer Science or Computer Information Systems, from an accredited college or university 3
years of experience with any of the following technologies:
AWS, VMWare, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform Ability to obtain and maintain the required Secret US Security Clearance Flexible work arrangement with 2 days per week at client site in the Foggy Bottom, Washington DC area and 3 days from home-based office.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Recommended Skills Api Agility Architecture Asset Management Automation Business Process Improvement Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
