Animal Care Technician
Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Animal Care Technician in Rockville, MD.
Responsibilities for the Animal Care Technician include:
oPerform daily Animal husbandry duties such as health check, cage changing, and waste disposaloOversee laboratory sanitation and environmental conditions such as humidity and temperatureoAssist in basic veterinary care for animals housed within the vivariumoOversee vivarium supplies and resourcesoProvide support to rodent breeding coloniesoMaintain logs and research documentation in accordance with company standards Qualifications for the Animal Care Technician include:
oA minimum of 1 year of animal husbandryoTechnical capabilities with animal breeding, tissue sampling, harvesting, collection, and non human primate experienceoHS Diploma or BS in biology related field required Compensation for the Animal Care Technician include:
