ZeniMax Media is seeking a self-motivated, entry level IT Support Assistant to join our team at corporate headquarters in Rockville, MD.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for problem solving, strong customer service and technical skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to end users by phone, email, and in person in a friendly, professional manner Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop PCs and peripherals such as printers, mobile devices, USB connected devices and other hardware used in development Install and configure application and operating system software and upgrades Identify, research, and resolve technical problems through discussion with users Document, track, and monitor the problem to ensure a timely resolution Actively and independently preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products, and services Troubleshoot and repair hardware and network connectivity issues Perform regular maintenance to ensure that local hardware and systems perform correctly Remove old equipment and perform data migration to new machines Responsible for opening, updating, tracking, and closing tickets in the ticket management system while supporting users across multiple time zones Participate in collaborative work and provide regular updates Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Up to 1 year of IT support experience or equivalent education Competent in M365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) General knowledge of Windows 10/11 Ability to work independently and as a team while managing multiple priorities in a constantly evolving and demanding environment Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with privileged information Strong oral and written communication skills required Able to lift 40 pounds (monitors, computers, printers, servers) Comfortable interacting with all levels of an organization Preferred Skills:
General knowledge on other industry standard software such as Autodesk and Adobe products General knowledge of iOS and general mobile operating systems General knowledge of Linux and macOS operating systems Salary Range:
IT Support Assistant - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $45,000 - $75,000 per year.
ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets.
The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.

for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate's primary work location.
Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year.
Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
