Senior Network Engineer

Job DescriptionCALIBRE, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation Company, is looking for a highly motivated Senior Network Engineer to join our team supporting a Federal client in Rockville, MD.
The candidate will serve as the primary technical and managerial interface for network infrastructure activities.
Candidates should have knowledge of industry best practices as articulated by, but not limited to, Lean IT, Agile practices, as well as DevSecOps.
Responsibilities:
Apply DevSecOps principles, agile software engineering best practices, and tools to IT infrastructure and operation to help optimize IT delivery objectives Strategic planning for infrastructure automation.
Implementation of infrastructure automation tools and solutions and technical project management.
Systems/infrastructure technology portfolio management Appling technical knowledge to assist clients in the design and development of solutions to complex technical engineering and applications problems, network challenges, or system administration issues.
Required ExperienceRequired
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer related discipline and ten (10) years of relevant work experience At least 8 years of experience designing and implementing network infrastructure and resolving advanced support issues Experience with specific Extreme Networks technologies, including experience with F5 Big IQ, Infoblox DNS, DHCP, & IPAM (DDI), Cacti, Reporting Appliance, Network Insight, and IPAM for Microsoft Must demonstrate knowledge of the most current Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standards ITIL Foundations certification, or ability to complete within three months of hire Preferred:
Extreme Certified Specialist (ECS) is highly desirable Recommended Skills Agile Methodology Automation Cacti Dns Devsecops Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
