Laboratory: Client Service Representative 10 AM - 7 PM

With a focus on the challenging area of rare disease and other distinct laboratory testing capabilities, we are seeking a Client Service Representative to join our team of skilled laboratory scientists to assist with our ever-expanding growth.
The Client Service Representative for Trillium plays a vital role in establishing and maintaining a productive relationship between the company and clients.
The Client Service Representative maintains high customer service standards, achieving overall client satisfaction by providing timely and accurate information and service to all laboratory clients.
The position encompasses processing clinical and administrative functions while providing support to various departments throughout the laboratory.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
Supporting the administrative functions of the laboratory.
Handling of client inquiries received from emails, fax, and phones.
Triage and refer internal/external phone calls appropriately.
Communicating critical and important information to the technical laboratory staff while safely guarding the privacy and protected health information of clients and patients.
Resolving laboratory case discrepancies with clients as identified and correct case errors as reported.
Patient data and test kits management:
accurate coordination of data collection and processing of laboratory test orders for transport of patient test kits.
Dispatching courier services to internal and external clients.
Preparing documentation for laboratory cases sent to external medical facilities.
Maintaining adequate inventory of supplies and forms for logistics purposes.
Fulfilling supply orders for clients as needed.
Education Requirements:
Requires a minimum of an Associate degree in related field.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Work
Experience:
2 or more years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting or related field.
Phlebotomy experience/Phlebotomy certification/MLT Certification preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Must possess demonstrable customers service skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
Knowledge of medical / clinical terminologies Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently.
Demonstrate the ability to multitask with attention to details.
Fluency in basic computer skills, knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
Knowledge of EMR preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Positive, collaborative attitude.
