Hybrid Network Expert - On-Site 2x/month with Security Clearance
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Expert to join a primarily remote opportunity supporting a leading federal customer supporting the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
This overarching program provides cyber and network support to the NIAID Research Community.
The Network Expert will work remote but will need to be local to Rockville, MD in order to come on-site two times a month.
The Network Expert will provide expertise and work hands-on with network automation using Ansible.
Responsibilities for the Network Expert include:
Automate the networks with Ansible and Python utilizing multiple vendor products integration via Restful APIS.
Provide expert level recommendations and hands-on support for network routing, Cisco Enterprise equipment, and QoS (Traffic shaping, queuing, and policing) Design and support the WAN/LAN connectivity for multiple data centerRequired Qualifications for the Network Expert include:

years of experience with routing design and deployment Hands on experience with Ansible for automation and NetDevOps with GitHub for CI/CD Familiar with Cisco SD Access Bachelor's Degree Must be able to obtain an NIH Public Trust (not required to start)Compensation for the Network Expert include:
