Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with an insurable record.
Reliable transportation.
Up-to-date or willingness to obtain OSHA-required vaccines.
Ability to lift/carry 50-150 lbs.
3 years of relevant experience, with a focus on transferable skills such as customer service, event coordination, or similar.
Core Duties:
Transport deceased humans and pets to the funeral home from various locales.
Perform a variety of tasks during funerals to assist funeral directors and to ensure that services run smoothly and as planned.
Transportation between business locations.
Secondary Duties:
Keep vehicles tidy and presentable.
Handle and maintain inventory.
Assist funeral directors as needed.
Obtain death certificates from the Department of Vital Records.
