Receives, assesses, routes, or otherwise handles incoming and outgoing materials such as controlled or routine correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other forms of written communication.
Performs office automation duties which include the preparation of ad hoc and reoccurring reports, forms, correspondence, and presentation materials which may include complex graphs, charts, and tabular material.
Manages and maintains the appointment calendar for the assigned Division Director, exercising control over the calendar entries and scheduling activities.
Performs a wide variety of administrative tasks required to support the work of the organization.

To qualify for this Administrative Support Assistant position at the GS-09 level, your resume must clearly demonstrate that you have one full year of specialized experience comparable in difficulty and responsibility to at least the GS-07 level in the federal service.
Specialized experience for this position includes:

Utilizing administrative tools, procedures, and guidelines to purchase supplies, equipment and training courses.
