Kehilat Pardes is seeking an Administrative Assistant and Youth Director! Salary Range:
$50,000-55,000 Hours:
40 hours / week Position
Summary:
Kehilat Pardes seeks a highly organized and proactive administrative assistant to facilitate the smooth functioning of the shul office.
We are also seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to create and coordinate engaging programming for our youth community.
We are open to this being one person working full time or two people working part-time.
Essential Functions:
1.
Support the rabbi and board president as needed 2.
Prepare and distribute general communications, such as thank you notes, weekly emails, announcements, and flyers for upcoming events 3.
Manage financial day-to-day activities, from processing donations and event payments to managing accounts payables and supporting Board Treasurer 4.
Provide support for shul programming as needed 5.
Provide information on the congregation and membership to members of the congregation, prospective members, and other interested parties as needed 6.
Serve as an administrative liaison to the Melvin J.
Berman Hebrew Academy for the congregation.

Maintain an updated membership database with congregation members' contact information 8.
Maintain Yahrtzeit database with memorial information.
Update and coordinate annual Yahrtzeit reminders 9.
Prepare high holiday mailers that include printed flyers and shul directories.
10.
Coordinate a volunteer schedule in order to execute Shabbat kiddush every week.
11.
Other tasks as necessary Develop and implement creative and meaningful programs for children and teens.
12.
Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and hired assistants to facilitate youth programs.
13.
Create an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere that encourages active participation and engagement among youth members.
14.
Use various communication channels to keep parents/guardians and the community informed.
15.
Collaborate with Kehliat Pardes leadership to align programming with the organization's mission and values.
Required Skills/Competencies:
Ability to manage multiple priorities Strong writing skills Strong organizational skills Problem solving skills Attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with a variety of stakeholders High computer proficiency (including a skilled knowledge of Excel).

On-site presence at Kehilat Pardes during designated events, especially on Saturdays and Holidays.
Preferred Skills/Competencies:
Familiarity with QuickbooksFamiliarity with ShulCloud Experience in planning and executing youth programs.
