This position is a mission critical occupation and is responsible for the analysis of system and/or security requirements, the development and implementation of mission critical applications for the agency's Information Technology operations. As an Information Technology Specialist (INET) your major duties and responsibilities include:
Leading back-end Drupal developer and technical expert responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining digital applications to improve HRSA's websites, digital environment, and system architecture.Overseeing and managing projects related to the web and application development work by OC's digital support contractor.Serving as HRSA's primary expert on complex technical matters concerning web, web apps, and other software applications.Serving as the primary point of contact for the HRSA and HHS security teams; works with the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for the OC Production System and the HHS ASPA ISSO to ensure compliance with security standards.NOTE: Do not cut and paste the duties, specialized experience, or occupational assessment questionnaire from this announcement into your resume as that will not be considered a demonstration of your qualifications for this position.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentU. Quality Ranking Factor(s): Quality Ranking factors are knowledge, skills, or abilities that are highly desired by the hiring manager, though not required.
