Position PurposeThe Commercial Relationship Liaison (CRL) Manager is responsible for managing a team of Commercial Relationship Liaison (CRL) who work with assigned Commercial Banking teams to manage customer experience and expectationsThe Manager is responsible for ensuring that the team can effectively manage customer implementations, problem resolution and cross-selling of the Bank's product offerings.
Position ResponsibilitiesSupport the Commercial Banking Team in maintaining and managing their portfolio.
Coordinate transactions with bank customers and prospects, third party consultants, such as project inspectors, appraisers, environmental firm staff, attorneys, and engineers.
Responsible for assisting with all credit packages including Opportunity Assessment Memos and Credit Applications, along with all supporting standard internal documentation forms, project and financial statement analysis, loan profitability and narrative on the project, borrowers, and guarantors.
Accompany the Relationship Manager on appointments as needed.
Direct contact with clients ranging from closings to coordination of information.
Collaborate closely with internal departments, title companies and law offices to ensure full cycle integrity and client satisfaction.
Ensure all required documentation is collected and maintained as required.
Work with outside vendors and professionals to remedy situations as needed Effectively motivate all personnel to produce individualized production metrics.
Stay informed about the legal, compliance and market-risk-related issues involved in the processing of loansSubsequently trains staff accordingly.
Supervisory:
Mentor and coach direct reports within the team to help develop them for future roles and provide proper succession.
Manage performance of the team and conduct performance reviews within the processes of the Bank.
Minimum Education& ExperienceBachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.

years of experience in commercial sales support environmentPrevious experience in a Banking environment; branch, sales or customer facing roles.
Prior experience with Core banking systems.
Technical Knowledge and SkillsKnowledge of lending terminology and products.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities in a multi-task environment and meet deadlines.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, research and resolve issues that arise with customers.
