Provides consultation to Regional Leaders and workgroups regarding diversity and inclusion strategies, focusing on strategies for growing membership. Guides the Diversity and Inclusion team's work on developing the cultural competence of the workforce and equipping the organization to provide linguistically and culturally proficient care to members. Builds and leverages strong working relationships w/ all Diversity stakeholders, including Executives, physicians, staff, and Program Office colleagues.
Essential Functions:
- Marketplace: Serves as SME for the region on the implications for Diversity and Inclusion on Health care reform, Medicare, Medicaid, and other legislation.
- Collaborates w/ Regional leadership (Strategic Planning, Market Planning, Marketing Communications) to understand the demographics and cultural/linguistic preferences of current and potential markets.
- Develops and executes key Diversity and Inclusion strategies for retaining members and marketing to new members.
- Establishes, monitors, and reports on key strategic metrics related to market growth in diverse populations.
- Conducts best practice research and benchmarking of health care organizations.

Resource Groups in strategic consumer marketing activities to support membership growth.
- KPMAS Cultural Competence: Consults to Regional Executives on strategies to increase cultural competence of the workforce and ensure culturally and linguistically proficient care for members.
- Develops strategies for integrating principles of Diversity and Inclusion into KPMAS culture, processes, and policies.
- Participates in National Diversity Workgroups.
- Analyzes Diversity data for KPMAS, reports on key metrics and trends, develops just in time solutions to meet strategic targets.
- Supplier Diversity:
- Collaborates w/ Materials Management department to ensure Supplier Diversity goals are achieved.
- Coaching and Development: Provides strategic direction for Diversity and Inclusion staff regarding workforce cultural competence, health outcomes, and culturally and linguistically appropriate care, based on the needs of the marketplace.
- Coaches Diversity and Inclusion staff.
- Provides routine feedback on alignment of work w/ National Diversity strategies and Regional Marketplace initiatives.
- Budget and Expenses: Assists Director in preparing and managing Diversity and Inclusion budget.
- Manages key vendor relationships.
Qualifications:
Basic
Qualifications:
- Seven (7) years of Diversity and Inclusion consulting in a health care environment.
- Five (5) years of experience leading change in a complex environment.
- Five (5) years of experience w/ developing and presenting Executive-level presentations.
- Master's degree in business administration, public policy, health care administration, human resources, organization development, or a related field required.
- Expert understanding of the intersection of Health care reform, Medicare, Medicaid and Diversity and Inclusion practices.
- Expert understanding of CLAS standards.
- Understanding of Affirmative Action / EEO .
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex organization w/ a diverse workforce.
- Demonstrated success in coaching others.
- Data analysis to identify performance gaps and opportunities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of delivery system experience, including collaborative work w/ physicians and nurse managers preferred.
- Five (5) years of consumer marketing experience preferred.
- Five (5) years of management experience preferred.
- Five (5) years of training design and delivery preferred.
LI-JK1Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
