The successful candidate will lead efforts to locate, develop, coordinate and capture new business opportunities in the Commercial marketplace through continuous professional contact with existing and/or new clients in the Oracle ecosystem.
Build effective relationships with key Oracle clients (industry business unit managers) and decision makers.
Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with strategic and tactical teaming partners securing productive teaming arrangements as well as MSA, and other vendor related agreements.
Participate in proposal strategy and development plans.
Assist in the capture management and proposal development processes.
Grow existing accounts, engage in mining of new unassigned clients, and source new revenue opportunities within defined Commercial space.
Recommend and implement marketing and business development strategies with new and existing commercial clients. Generate and respond to all leads via the phone, website and other online lead generating systems, networking
(conferences, seminars, trade shows, vendor outreach sessions, etc.), social outings and client meetings.
Prepare sales presentations and represent the company at sales briefings to Commercial clients.
Ensure adherence to proposal requirements and formats, proof-reading, editing, working with technical and authoring of major sections, document assembly, and final reproduction.
Manage multiple clients and changing priorities without much supervision.
Provide bi-weekly (weekly as needed) activity / Business Development report.
Develop and maintain pipeline. Provide weekly pipeline reports.
Key Skills and Requirements:
3 years of Business development (commercial space preferred)
Bachelor's degree or 5 years of Business development experience
Existing relationships with commercial clients a plus
The ideal candidate will be dynamic, driven to succeed, and a strong communicator possessing effective written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal communication and relational skills, good organizational and project management skills; sound judgment; initiative; flexibility; results-oriented
Demonstrated experience in managing key accounts .
Strong organizational, analytical and logical problem solving skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
Business Travel required up to 50%
Compensation: $75-85k base salary with 10-15% bonus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
