Responsibilities
The Program Director is responsible for the day-to-operations of the unit, including the supervision of all unit staff, including nursing. He/she will work effectively with the Nurse Manager and/or Chief Nursing Officer on nursing specific issues such as staffing and nurse competencies, but will have will have the authority to direct the performance of nursing personnel to ensure quality patient care and programming seven days a week. He/she will have administrative oversight to ensure responsible utilization of resources and will be responsible for the budget and unit strategies for growth.
The Program Director is a department head, accountable to the Director of Clinical Services. He/she will ensure execution of duties consistent with the vision of senior leadership for the delivery of quality services in the safest environment. As such, the Program Director will work with the Nurse Manager/Milieu Manager to implement programs, team trainings and initiatives for continuous quality improvement. He/she will work collaboratively with other department leaders, and will ensure an environment on the units conducive to building a high performance team.
The Program Director will work effectively with the Nurse Manager/Milieu Manager to promote patient satisfaction and be accountable for successful and timely resolution of grievances. The Program Director will maintain compassion and a high degree of respect while interacting with patients, families, referral sources, and staff daily to engage them in treatment and to identify concerns and assist in resolution.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
