Human Resources Generalist

Our client, a leading pain management services healthcare firm, is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to work in their headquarters office in Rockville, Maryland. Serving the Mid-Atlantic region with over 40 office locations and a diverse team of physicians, our client offers a full range of pain management services to provide patients with the most comprehensive approach to pain management available.

Working closely with the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Generalist will provide Human Resources expertise and play an essential role in the corporate operation of the organization. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the daily Human Resources functions in the general areas of performance management, workers compensation, FLSA, HR metrics, employee on-boarding, training, job analysis and benefits administration.
Responsibilities:
New Employee Onboarding and Assimilation.
Orients new staff to the client's policies and procedures.
Interfaces with payroll to ensure accurate and timely employee pay.
Maintains open and effective lines of communication with all offices of the organization related to human resources and best practices.
Assists managers and providers with the preparation and execution of employee evaluations.
Participates on committees and completes special projects as directed or assigned.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree required.
Three years of human resources generalist experience supporting a remote group of offices is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written skills, with ability to read, write, and take action on general business information.
Ability to interpret and apply operational documents such as legal writings, federal and state regulations and company policies and procedures.
Ability to maintain complete confidentiality of information at all times.
Excellent organizational/multi-tasking skills with strong attention to details.
Capability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and demanding environment, while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity.
Ability to travel on occasion. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
