Our client, a quality driven General Contractor located in Rockville, MD needs a unique employee. Someone who can fill several roles, i.e., Business Developer/Estimator/Project Manager with a well-established portfolio of project experience in automotive dealerships, embassies and/or historical projects.
This opportunity is as unique as the person who will fill it a leader who has the capability to create a new division for our client including full-cycling projects from business development, preconstruction services, estimating, project management to closeout of projects.

& work to grow the companys profits by attracting new customers and bringing existing relationships and customers to the company
& develop relationships with owners and architects in order to produce profitable opportunities for the company
& prepare and deliver presentations to the customer as necessary to market company and present project proposals
& provide follow-up sales activities as necessary
& maintain customer relationships and ensure customer loyalty through excellent customer service as well as meeting all client needs
& budget/estimate projects thoroughly, timely and accurately
& estimate, manage and closeout multiple projects simultaneously
& strong presentation skills
& strong track record of business-to-business sales at a corporate level
& ability to deal well with owners, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, etc.
& strong research and strategic analytical skills
& excellent communication skills both verbal and written
& ability to evaluate and analyze bids and award contracts
& review and process submittals if necessary
& develop project schedules
& manage vendor contracts; review vendor invoices to process for payment
& ability to manage all disciplines of vendors and subcontractors
& facilitate kick off and progress meetings for projects; attend other meetings as may be required
& develop and finalize punch lists
& intermediate use of Microsoft is required (specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, Schedule)
& ability to use in-house and on-line software for business development, estimating and project management (candidate should indicate programs on their resume)
& provide guidance and direction to assistant project managers and administrative assistants as needed
The new employee will have at least 12 years commercial construction experience and a proven background in business development and a college degree is preferred.
