Overview
The Applications Support Associate has responsibility for providing Tier 1 help desk support to business users of proprietary or custom application software. Application Support Associates must quickly acquire the systems knowledge to perform their jobs.

Providing email and telephone support to users of the BioTelemetry Research proprietary and third party operational systems and applications
Serving as the initial point of contact to users while troubleshooting and solving customer issues
Recording all incidents in a ticket tracking system to include ensuring timely responses to and closure of reported indents, documenting all incidents in a comprehensive manner
Escalating issues to appropriate personnel for internal customer problems that cannot be resolved in a timely manner
Performing data delivery and reporting tasks as requested by clinical data management staff
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or two years of equivalent work experience
Demonstrated overall IT literacy
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage concurrent responsibilities
IT support help desk experience is a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
