The Lead Systems Engineer will be responsible for full spectrum of system administration tasks which include user and server support.
The Lead Systems Engineer job responsibilities will include:
Configure and manage storage solutions including virtualized server environment.
Lead efforts in configuring, securing and sustaining computing systems.
Direct team of systems engineers in the set-up, maintenance, availability management, and problem management of infrastructure.
Design and install new server hardware according to latest industry standards.
Integrate security to desktop and servers.
Integrate Network Operations software.
Provide hardware and software configuration management (SCM) and change management services.
Support operational management and patch management.
Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
Develop and document system disaster recovery tests.
Production support for servers including failover, backup recovery.
Assist other technical employees by providing experts' advice, training and technical guidance as necessary in regard to infrastructure.
Provide strategic planning support for growth and optimization of storage and backup infrastructure.
Perform audits on security, storage data, and data backups.
Required Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated commitment to quality.
Action oriented and results driven.
Ability to lead team of systems engineers Required Experience Bachelor's degree in software engineering/computer science or 10
years of IT related professional experience.

years overall relevant experience as a team lead/senior network/system engineer.
ITIL certified Windows Server 2012 Active Directory Microsoft Azure Experience with variety of hardware platforms, including Oracle/Sun, Dell, Cisco, and HP One or more of the following certifications:
