The position of Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment) falls within the 0201 occupational series. To qualify for this position at grade GS-9, you must meet Time-in-Grade requirements by 11:
59 pm EST on 11/02/2020. Minimum Qualifications One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service providing support for recruitment and hiring activities, such as drafting vacancy announcements, developing assessment tools, and reviewing and referring eligible applicants based on qualifications. OR Have a Master's or equivalent graduate degree in a related field of study for the position (e.g., Human Resources Management) OR Have 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR LL.B or J.D., if related. Voluntary experience may be used to qualify. In accordance with Office of Personnel Management policy, federal employees are assumed to have gained experience by performing duties and responsibilities appropriate for their official series and grade level as described in their position description. The documentation must indicate whether the duties were performed full time or, if part time, the percentage of times the other duties were performed. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
