//hrsa.connectsolutions.com/virtual_job_fair_for_admin_asst/ As an Administrative Support Assistance, you perform a variety of specialized administrative duties designed to meet the internal requirements and management functions of the Division of Executive Office Services. Your major duties and responsibilities include:
Safe operation of official government motor vehicle or privately owned vehicles in the conduct of scheduled and non-scheduled delivery and pick up of passengers, documents, and packages. Using varied and advanced functions of word processing to create, format, edit and print various documents (e.g., letters, memos, reports, spreadsheets, etc.) Conducting walkthroughs of OA/OO space to verify government furnished equipment/property, space configurations, space allocations, pick-up/delivery of purchase orders. Ensuring that new employees have been fully set up with space and equipment as required. Receiving incoming shipments of material using knowledge of warehousing procedures and methods. Establishing and maintaining necessary databases pertaining to such items as milestones, funding, labor, etc. The work is primarily sedentary; however, there may be walking, standing, bending, lifting, and carrying of supplies and equipment not exceeding 50 lbs. You must be proficient with typing and be able to type 40 or more words per minute. To qualify for this position at the GS-6 level, your resume must clearly demonstrate that you have one full year of specialized experience comparable in difficulty and responsibility to at least the GS-5 level in the federal service. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, an applicant's one full year of specialized experience must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for successful job performance. Utilizing a variety of software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Access, etc.) to prepare documents for staff; obtaining and providing information necessary to create, maintain, and update administrative lists, records, files, etc.; and, performing routine record keeping and compiling reports of supply, property, equipment, etc. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; community; student; social). If such experience is on a part-time basis, you must provide the average number of hours worked per week as well as the beginning and ending dates of the experience so it can be fully credited. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
