This individual will support our client, a leading commercial real-estate firm based out of Rockville, MD, with projects around the Washington, DC metropolitan region.

Job Responsibilities The Junior Asset Manager will become a part of our client's construction management team in Rockville, MD.
This individual will assist the Director of Acquisitions with the development and negotiation of new acquisitions, as well as the successful management and completion of projects.
Additional responsibilities of the Junior Asset Manager include:
Setting up new projects and contracts to include:
Developing and negotiating subcontractor scopes and awards Negotiating new and renewing management contracts Interfacing with subcontractors, field personnel and owners to ensure timely and effective communication regarding project matters Assisting Director of Acquisitions with tasks related to the successful management and completion of a project, to include:
Processing and tracking RFIs, submittals and Change Orders Preparing for and attending weekly progress meeting Ensuring that logs, paperwork and files are up-to-date and complete Assisting with financial planning and invoicing Providing third-party property management supervision, to include:
Conducting site visits and inspections to evaluate the upkeep of each asset Helping to oversee third party management companies Completing annual reviews of each property to identify ways to increase efficiencies Guaranteeing accurate financial and compliance management, to include:
Reviewing and approving operating budgets and reports Ensuring that loan / bond documents, licenses and permits are up-to-date and complete Providing inter-departmental coordination when necessary, for example:
Working closely with Community Outreach and Impact to ensure the needs of residents are met and that required resources are available Providing Finance and Accounting with information when conducting audits Job Requirements:
Specific qualifications for the Junior Asset Manager include:
A associate's degree in a related field or one (1) or more years of asset management experience to include:
Construction paperwork, (eg RFIs, submittals, change orders, etc.
) with knowledge of general construction, construction plans and project documentation Working with subcontractors Working with a real estate development or general contracting firm doing interior renovations is preferred Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project, preferably the most recent version Authorized to work in the US Benefits RealStreet offers a comprehensive benefit package which includes:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
